I remember this production/mix session feeling pretty precarious. This was one of those bands where it felt like they could implode at any moment. We recorded most of it at my studio in Canalot Production Studios on Kensal Rd, London apart from the strings which were recorded - I don't remember where. I do remember at the string session though the singer grilling the A&R man for details about pensions and benefits if they signed the deal with Island - apparently her mum had told her to ask about these things....that was a first. I love the vibe of this pretty sparse track though.
