Sold For A Smile

1998. Maybe one of the best rock bands you've probably never heard of. I mixed these tracks at Electric Lady in NYC, Jimi Hendrix's fantastic studio. 

These are great songs and the Cyndi Lauper 'Time After Time' cover is particular inspired. Certainly fun to mix.

The label guy from MCA was beside himself with excitement about these tracks and was certain these guys were gonna be huge.....but guess what, they got completely lost in the big label machinery, No promotion, no radio....nothing. They were great live too. Very sad.
